INDONESIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS 10th SOCIETY FOR MICROBIOLOGY
AND INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
THE RECENT ADVANCES OF MICROBIOLOGY IN HEALTH, BIOINDUSTRY, AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT


INTRODUCTION Industries development base on microbiology in Indonesia are needed to build for human health especially for public health and finally for human being. Microorganisms have high value if it can be good explore. Even though using genetic engineer approach will be get competitive value because they are needed for antibiotics materials, food technology, pharmaceutical, diagnostic and vaccine materials. Whatever, that is which correlation white health, industry, agriculture and environment. This symposium is conduct with critical point of biodiversity meaning value and applied of genetic engineering base on microorganism. Focusing of these symposiums are biotechnology, therapeutic, nutrition, enzyme, food industry, lactic acid, probiotic, diagnostic, vaccine and bioremediation. These symposiums will be executed together with International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS), American Society for Microbiology (ASM), Indonesian Society for Lactic Acid Bacteria (ISLAB), Institute of Tropical Disease (ITD) Airlangga University and others.

CALL FOR PAPERS
1. Individual papers (20 min, paper presentation + discussion) can be presented in any two languages: English or Bahasa Indonesia.
However, proceedings will be published in English only.
2. Abstract (200 – 250 words), with the authors name and a 50 word bio-data affiliation, e-mail address, and paper title should be sent via e-mail to the symposium address permi_surabaya@yahoo.co.id.

3. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the authors by 25 October 2009
4. The deadline of submission of full papers is 31 October 2009
5. Selected papers will be published in the symposium proceedings

SUBMISSION

1. name, title and affiliation for each author/presenter
2. bio-data of presenter/s (50 words)
3. title of paper
4. abstract (approximately 200-250 words)
5. presentation equipment requirements

For abstract and full paper submission, please use MS Word, Times New Roman, font size 12 and single spacing.
Full papers should not be more than 15 pages including appendices.
